I got up early this morning to capture a few shots of various locations on the River Clyde, Glasgow and Glasgow University. I generated an HDR for each shot using Photomnatix Pro 4 and edited further using Picasa. I have more shots to upload of today's shoot which i will do over the next few days.

Cambusnethan Priory, Scotland

This is a derelict Gothic mansion that can be found in Cambusnethan in Scotland. When i was walking down to this building i became a bit nervous the weather was bright but the clouds were turning dark and i knew rain would be saying hello very soon, so i walked around the building and chose my favorite views of it. I could not get into the building as the front entrance had been bricked up and other ways of getting in were a bit tricky so i chose to stay safe. I believe the building was built in 1819 and it was once a hotel which had medieval nights, more information can be found on the internet. It would cost a lot of money to bring this property back to life but i believe it would be money well spent rather than let it one day disappear. So if they are any wealthy Arabs or Russians out there with some loose change to play with then buy it and have some fun.

I visited this area as i had driven past it on the motorway on many occasions and thought i would try some shots out. I used Photomatix to generate an HDR image and edited further using Picasa.

This is another shot from my visit to John Street in Glasgow's Merchant City. I believe this street has been used in movies and tv, if i find out what movies or tv programs then i will edit this post or if anyone who reads this has some information on it then make a comment or send me an email at ml6@live.co.uk.
